The Los Angeles LGBT Center announced today that international music superstars No Doubt and Sia will both perform intimate acoustic sets and Emmy® Award-winning actress and comedian Sarah Silverman will perform a stand-up routine at the annual An Evening with Women celebration on Saturday, May 16 at the Hollywood Palladium. The event, co-chaired this year by Linda Perry, Brent Bolthouse, Kelly Lynch and Annie Goto, has raised over $4.65 million dollars since 2002 for the vital services the Los Angeles LGBT Center provides to underserved seniors, women and girls, including the homeless youth currently surviving on the streets of Los Angeles.
Additional honorees, participants and attendees will be announced in the coming weeks. An Evening with Women will feature more than 900 LGBT community members, entertainment and music industry supporters and donors uniting to support the Center’s mission of building a world where LGBT people thrive as healthy, equal and complete members of society. Come take a private tour on Saturday, March 7th at 11:30am. Afterwards we'll walk to a local neighborhood spot for some super delicious food and drinks. During the tour we can see firsthand the amazing work the Center’s doing for people just like you, as well as those in our community who are in dire need.
We ask that you please be on time, ready and waiting for the tour to start by 11:25AM out of respect for our gracious community leaders who are putting this event on for us for free. There is free parking in the back of the building – just tell security you’re there for the tour.

If you have been missing our Potluck Parties between Chatlucks, now you can get your fix. I am hosting a get together at my Treehouse the Fourth Saturday evening of the month.
Please bring a dish and a soft drink to share. I have space to welcome additional non-players who want to watch or socialize. :) The featured game of the evening will be Heads Up this time. It's a fun game with lots of laughs.

Once a month, Sharp hosts and facilitates "Lesbian Chat & A Potluck," a social networking group for women from all corners of the LGBT community, and all ages, 18 to 80. An alternative to the bar scene, Lesbian Chat & A Potluck is a safe environment to meet women and find stimulating conversation. It's a potluck too...so bring a dish or a snack to share.
